Railings

Railings are created for a variety of reasons. Most commonly they are used as support or as a barrier. As the name suggests they are constructed using a series of upright members or posts that are usually widely spaced.

Rails can be made from several difference materials. Aluminum railing is lightweight and durable. They resist rust and corrosion and are easier to clean. Steel rails are a heavy-duty option that is easy to install and replicates the look of wrought iron. If you’re looking for a low cost, low maintenance, low frills choices then PVC rails are the way to go. They are lightweight and easy to install. Traditional wood railings are still a popular choice. They provide a natural look that can be stained to match your deck.
